The Cecil County SPCA has many wonderful dogs and cats (and occasionally a few nontraditional animals) ready for adoption. Many of these animals are previous house and farm pets that are looking for a second chance to find a forever home and to make a friend for life!

Dogs: $175.00 and up, includes Vet Exam, heartworm screen, Rabies vaccination, DAPP, Bordetella, and spay or neuter, and a Microchip. (Note: fee does not include dog license. All dogs in Cecil County MD, over 4 months of age, must be licensed. License are available at the CCSPCA at the time of adoption.)

Cats: $125 and up, includes Vet exam, Rabies vaccination, FVRCP, FELV and FIV test, and spay or neuter.

Nontraditional Animals: vary with type and size, contact shelter for more details.

The CCSPCA accepts only VISA, Mastercard and cash for adoption fee payments.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and provide a current driver's license or other valid form of identification. The Cecil County SPCA, Inc. takes the following items into consideration when adopting:

• The reason for adopting an animal
• Employment status
• Housing status
• Allergy considerations
• Involvement of family members
• Previous pet history
• Animal care and housing & containment
• Existing pets

Adoption of an animal from the CCSPCA entails certain responsibilities including but not limited to, mandatory spay/neuter, proper vet care, and proper housing and feeding.
